Privacy Policy

Account information — your email address and password, handled by our authentication provider. We never see or store your password.

Your research — the projects, jurisdictions, auction lists, screenings, due-diligence findings, deal analyses and opportunity outcomes you record. This is private to your account.

Purchase information — the email address and order status supplied by our checkout provider, SamCart, so that your Playbook access can be activated. Card numbers and payment details are handled entirely by SamCart and its payment processor. We never receive or store them.

Requests you send us — the contents of the Exit Strategy Help form and any message you choose to send.

Checklist and email sign-ups — your email address, your consent choice, and where you signed up from (including campaign tags in the link you followed).

AI Research Assistant conversations — the questions you ask and the project context you share with the assistant, so it can respond and keep your history. Messages are processed by an AI model provider to generate replies.

First-party activity — a small record of key actions such as viewing the Playbook page, starting your first assignment, or recording an outcome. This is stored on our own systems. We do not use a third-party analytics vendor.

Advertising measurement (only if you allow it) — we may advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Only after you choose "Allow" in our cookie notice, we load the Meta Pixel, which sets Meta cookies and tells Meta (Meta Platforms) about page views on our public pages and successful new non-buyer checklist sign-ups after the checklist email is sent, so we can measure and improve our ads. Meta receives browser, device, IP and cookie information. Purchase reporting to Meta is not enabled. Automatic advanced matching is disabled, and we never send your email, name or phone number to Meta, and the Pixel never loads in your account, research workspace or admin areas. If you choose "Reject" or make no choice, nothing is loaded. You can change or withdraw your choice any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; we keep a record of the choice, its time and the notice version. Ad clicks and campaign tags in links (including Facebook's click identifier) are stored only in your browser and with your sign-up on our own systems.

To give you access to what you purchased, to keep your research private and available to you, to answer your requests, to send transactional email about your account and purchase, and to understand which parts of the product actually help.

We do not sell your information. Apart from the advertising measurement you can allow above, we do not share it for advertising.

We rely on a small number of providers to operate: a hosting and database provider, an email delivery provider for transactional messages, an AI model provider for the Research Assistant, and SamCart for checkout, affiliate tracking and payouts. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

You can request a copy of your information, correction of it, or deletion of your account and research at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your saved research permanently.

Transactional email about your purchase and account is part of the service. Any optional educational email can be unsubscribed from at any time.

To be confirmed: specific retention periods for purchase records, email records and assistant conversations have not yet been set and will be stated here.

Your research is protected by per-account access rules enforced at the database level, so one customer cannot read another's records. Paid materials and tools are verified on the server, not merely hidden in the interface.
